POP LLC provides access to and use of this site (this "Website") subject to your acceptance of these terms and conditions (these "terms"). Please read these terms and conditions of use carefully before using this site. By accessing, using, or obtaining any data, materials, information, products, services, or other content through this Website, you acknowledge that you have read and understand these terms and agree to abide by them. If you do not accept or understand all these terms, do not access or use this Website and cease your current access. 

We provide the information contained in this page in good faith, as we understand it to be accurate. However, we make no representation or warranty whatsoever as to the accuracy of said information. The individual accessing this information will make his or her own determination as to its benefit and use. Nothing contained in this Website shall be construed as a warranty for the products mentioned herein. The sole purpose of this Website is to provide information; a means to request a voluntary insurance coverage quote; and to expedite the payment of premiums for a purchased insurance product. Please review any applicable insurance policy or coverage for terms and conditions applicable to such coverage. 

The information included in this page is protected by the laws of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico and the United States. This information may not be copied except with our prior written consent.

We are licensed as an Authorized Representative and General Agency in Puerto Rico as required by law.

By using this Website you warrant that you are at least 18 years of age and can enter into binding contracts for insurance or other goods. If you are less than 18 years of age, you may not use this Website and you must leave immediately. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of any passwords, login names, or other information associated with your use of this Website.

You may not use this Website for any false or fraudulent purpose. You also may not use this Website to post or transmit any unlawful, threatening, libelous, defamatory, obscene, indecent, inflammatory, pornographic or profane material, or any material that could constitute or encourage conduct that would be considered a criminal offense, give rise to civil liability, or otherwise violate any law.

CO-BRANDED AREAS

In order to provide a greater breadth of services, certain functions provided on this Website are outsourced to third parties. Specifically, we have contracted with a third party to help improve our technical services and operations as well as provide additional business services to our visitors. Certain pages in this Website, therefore, are operated and controlled by a third party ("Co-Branded Areas"). These Co-Branded Areas may or not continue to display our trademarked logo but are nonetheless operated and managed by a third party. These terms, in conjunction with any further terms and conditions posted in the Co-Branded Areas, govern your access and use of those areas. Application for an insurance quotation through this Website does not constitute a binder of insurance coverage or the reporting of a claim. The application may be used by us to provide an estimate of the terms, conditions, and costs of coverage. A quotation may be subject to receipt of additional information or other conditions. Insurance coverage is provided by various insurance companies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the policies. Circumstances vary and Website visitors must carefully review their own insurance policies and consult with their insurance advisors.

This privacy statement is being provided by POP LLC to you, our current or prospective consumer client, to provide you information about our privacy practices, both during and after our business relationship with you. This statement applies to your personal information that we may from time to time collect, use and disclose in the course of (1) performing insurance services or financial industry services on your behalf on or through the website, www.getcuvro.com and (2) making available the website, www.getcuvro.com. This statement is not applicable to any party who or that is not a direct client of ours or to whom we are not required to provide a privacy or similar notice pursuant to applicable law. 

We handle with the utmost seriousness our duty to maintain the privacy of our clients’ personal information. 

Because we value the relationship, we have with you as a client, we do not sell any of your information.

The law requires us to issue periodic notifications of our privacy policy. 

Your right to privacy has always been a priority of ours.

INFORMATION WE MAY COLLECT FROM YOU

We are generally unable to perform insurance services or other insurance or financial industry services on your behalf without collecting, using or disclosing your personal information. Typically, you will provide this required information to us directly within insurance applications or in connection with other communications. 

We generally collect the amount and types of personal information that are required for us to perform services on your behalf. This includes information that may be required by an insurance carrier or an industry service provider in the course of providing you with insurance coverage or related services. When you use our website, we may collect information about your device, browser and other information regarding your web usage using tracking tools described in this policy. 

This and other information may include: 

Your name, Social Security Number, driver’s license or other government-issued identification 

Assets and income, occupation and employment status, dependent information and other relevant financial information. 

Information relating to any of your past claims. 

Information from reporting agencies and state and federal government agencies, such as state motor vehicle departments. 

Information from other sources, such as medical or health care providers and other third parties with which you or we maintain a relationship; 

Your account activity and premium payment history; and credit card, bank account or other account information as may be required to facilitate your payment of insurance premium or similar amounts, which payment generally is made through systems maintained by third parties, such as insurance carriers. 

If your relationship with us ends, your personal information will continue to be protected, as required by local and federal law, and in accordance with our own practices as described in this notification.

We will not disclose or use information about your health that we may have in our records in any manner not described in this statement without your previous written authorization or unless permitted by the applicable laws and regulations of the federal and state government.

PARTIES WITH WHOM WE SHARE YOUR INFORMATION

We only share your personal information with insurance carriers with which we maintain arrangements on a need basis and as part of our servicing your insurance needs as requested. You may receive some benefits including, without limitation, information about new products, easy access to information about your insurance policies, etc. 

However, according to the law, and without your written authorization, we may provide information about you that we have in our records to persons and organizations such as persons who transact business with us; organizations that offer insurance related support; organizations that perform actuarial or related studies; other insurance companies to allow them to perform their duties for the insurance transactions you may request; regulatory or law enforcement authorities; and to people who request information in conformity with a judicial requirement or court order or of an administrative agency. In that case, we only share the information necessary to satisfy the above purposes.

As such, we may disclose your personal information to third-party financial services providers, such as banks, mortgage companies, mortgage brokers, agencies that offer consumer information, insurance companies, financial advisors and similar companies and appraisers. 

We may share information with certain third parties, unless prohibited by law or regulation, as applicable. This may include, without limitation, disclosing information to facilitate your application for insurance and to our attorneys, accountants, regulators, advisors and consultants in the quality control area. 

SECURITY MEASURES WE USE TO PROTECT YOUR INFORMATION

We have implemented physical, electronic, and organizational safeguards reasonably designed to protect our client's information. We limit access to the information to those employees on a need to know basis in order to provide services and products. Our employees are trained on the need to comply with privacy practices and we take disciplinary measures to hold non-compliant employees accountable. Despite this, the security of information cannot be guaranteed.

FRAUD

Any person who knowingly and with intent to defraud, presents false information in an application for insurance, or who files, assists, or causes to be filed a fraudulent claim for the payment of a loss or other benefit, or make more than one claim for the same damage or loss, will incur in a serious crime and convicted, will be sanctioned, for each violation with a penalty of a fine of not less than five thousand dollars ($5,000), nor more than ten thousand dollars ($10,000) or imprisonment for a fixed term of three (3) years, or both sentences. If there are aggravating circumstances, the established fixed penalty may be increased to a maximum of five (5) years; to mediate extenuating circumstances, it may be reduced to a minimum of two (2) years. (Article 27,320 of the Law #18 of 2004.)
